取り組み

 私たちはね、毎月一度になると決まって、東京のスタジオへゾロゾロ集まってくるんでございますよ。で、それぞれが「今日はこの曲でどうだい！」なんて具合に課題曲を持ち寄りましてね、ああでもない、こうでもないと、ワイワイがやがやお稽古に励むってぇ寸法でございます。

You see, once a month like clockwork, we all come trooping into a studio in Tokyo.
 Each of us brings along a tune and says, “How about this one today?”
 Then it’s a lively back-and-forth of this and that, and we set to practicing with plenty of chatter and laughter.

 我們啊，每個月固定有一次，總是三三兩兩地聚集到東京的錄音室來。
 大家各自帶來一首曲子，說著「今天來練這首怎麼樣？」
 於是你一句我一句，這樣那樣地討論著，熱熱鬧鬧地投入練習，這就是我們的日常啦。

私たちってぇのはね、お客様から「こんなことできやせんか？」なんて声がかかれば、「へい、お任せくだせぇ」とばかりに、その場その場でできることを精いっぱいやらかすタチでございまして。

で、その度に、聴いてくださる方の好みに合わせて曲を選んで、「よし、今日はこれで勝負だ」とばかりに、しっかり稽古を積んでから本番に臨むってぇ寸法でございます。

As for us, whenever a customer says, “Do you think you could do something like this?”
 we’re the type to reply, “Sure thing, leave it to us!” and give it our all, doing whatever we can on the spot.

And each time, we choose our tunes to suit the listener’s taste, saying,
 “All right, this is the one we’ll go with today,”
 and then we put in solid practice before stepping onto the stage.

至於我們呢，只要有客人問一句「這樣的事情能不能辦到？」
 我們就會回一句「好嘞，包在我們身上！」
 當場竭盡所能，把能做的全都做到最好。 

而且每一次，我們都會依照聽眾的喜好來選曲，
 心裡想著「好，今天就用這一首來拚了」，
 在正式演出前一定會好好練習，然後才上場表演。
